Wuthering Heights

On Friday night, we went to see Wuthering Heights: the Bollywood Musical. Which, yes I know, sounds crazy, but was actually really amazing. I would definitely recommend going to see it. The way that the Bollywood culture and the music were incorporated into the story was excellent, and the costumes and set were beautiful, even though it was quite minimal. The only flaw was that we thought Heathcliff/Christian's love for Cathy wasn't quite wild enough - the psychotic element was definitely played down, which made the characters seem a bit 2D. We were sat behind a man who had quite obviously been dragged there, and did not seem impressed by all the singing! He also asked why she was dying!
We got free tickets with A Night Less Ordinary - they give them away to under-26s, which we were dead impressed by. If you're interested, go on their website. They release tickets a week before the actual show, but I'd get in there fast - I rang five minutes after lines opened and got the last two tickets.
On a completely different note - Britain's Got Talent! We watched Friday's when we got back in, and were shocked by the special treatment Hollie received. Yeah, she's a kid, and they may or may not have been real tears, but how often have they buzzed people for forgetting the words! She clearly wasnt ready, as they told Jamie Pugh she can't let nerves get the better of her, and she shouldnt have got a second chance - there are no second chances in real life!!!! And she is hardly the bravest kid in the world.
In the final, Susan Boyle was robbed! But I do appreciate that she is already ridiculously famous, and somebody else deserved a chance. I loved Diversity, especially the little kid with the huge hair, and I can't wait to see what they do next! I always wonder what they'll do with a dance act like that if they win, there's not really many opportunities for stuff like that, but i guess if they won people obviously think that there should be.
I'm so devastated that it's all over - they should spend less time on X Factor and more on BGT!
